Here at the Solid Ground, we realize that our employees are one of our greatest resources. As such, the agency is committed to ensuring that employees are formally recognized for the work they do. The Employee of the Month award is intended to honor outstanding contributions that are made on a daily basis.

Our most recent Employee of the Month is Rosa Bradshaw, Family Shelter/Finance

Rosa's understanding, compassion, humor and dedication have made her a great supervisor over the past five and half years. As the head of Family Shelter, Rosa often went out of her way for both clients and other staff. She's been known to personally pack up food from the Food Bank to deliver to families, often outside of her official work day. If other staff members encountered a displaced or homeless family, Rosa went to great lengths to try and find them housing if she possibly could. She maintained her composure and compassion during stressful evictions, as well as exciting successes. Her co-workers appreciate that Rosa would always take time out of an already busy job to make herself available to them to help solve difficult client problems. Many people are excited by the depth of direct service experience Rosa will bring to her new job overseeing contracts and funding for Solid Ground's housing programs.
