ANEW is pre-apprenticeship training for women and men who are looking for opportunities in the trades such as construction. Apprentices can earn $16/hour and up. This program offers a variety of workshops and certifications as well as job search navigation and coaching. They are recruiting for the cohort starting April 4th. Clear Path to Employment offers training, assistance and financial support. Registration for free classes from Goodwill is open this week. Goodwill offers classes in computer basics as well as specific Microsoft Office applications. There are also classes for people who speak English as a Learned Language and other training related to finding and keeping a job.
