HEALTHCARE OPEN ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE

WHAT: The Within Reach program will have certified healthcare navigators at the SeaTac Airport Jobs office to answer questions and assist with open enrollment in Washington State’s Health Exchange. They will also assist individuals in determining eligibility for reduced fare Orca cards. Assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
YOUTH MEDIA’S INTRO TO RADIO JOURNALISM

WHAT: The RadioActive 2017 After-School Workshop is a fun, challenging hands-on workshop for youth where you’ll learn about journalism, audio recording, editing, interviewing and so much more! Open to ages 16 – 18. No experience necessary. Receive a $600 stipend after successful completion of the program. Applications due by 11:59pm on Friday, December 2, 2016.

FREE SCREENING OF ‘PARIS IS BURNING’

WHAT: Join The Seattle Public Library and Seattle Non-binary Collective for a free screening of “Paris Is Burning.” This documentary from 1991 reveals the community of New York’s minority drag queens who cross dress as women and invented the dance style of “voguing,” imitating the fashion poses on the covers of the magazine Vogue.
