After many years of amazing work coordinating Lettuce Link’s Giving Garden at Marra Farm, our iconic farmer, Sue McGann, will retire in the fall.
In her first year at Marra Farm, Sue and one volunteer tended a few small beds at Marra Farm. Under Sue’s capable leadership, Lettuce Link’s Marra Farm Giving Garden has grown to host over 2,000 volunteers each year who help grow over 12,000 thousands pounds of fresh vegetables for local food banks.
As we celebrate Sue’s incredible legacy and wish her well on the next phase of her life, we’re searching high and low for a passionate, dirt-loving, food justice advocate who will inspire volunteers, grow healthy food, and build community in this urban oasis.
Please share the job description for the Marra Farm Project Coordinator far and wide.

On Saturday, September 21, we’ll gather for our annual Marra Farm Fall Festival, celebrate the growth and successes of Marra Farm over the years, and wish Sue well as she heads off into retirement. It will be a joyous day with good food, good company, and excitement as we look toward the future.
