Thanks to everyone who came out Thursday, August 8, for Solid Ground’s Food Truck Taste Off presented by Verizon. We had a great evening of food, fun, and friendly competition as Seattle’s favorite food trucks faced off to solve poverty.

Guests sampled signature dishes from local food trucks and voted for the best. This year’s winning truck won a cash prize and the artisan To-Go Cup! Congratulations to Frelard Tamales! The event also included live music, games, prizes, beer, and cider. All proceeds support Solid Ground’s work to meet basic needs, nurture success, and spread change. We couldn’t do this work without you, support from our sponsors, and all the awesome food and beverage vendors that came out.
