LEGAL HELP FOR LFOs (COURT FEES) FOR CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS
WHAT: The Northwest Justice Project (NJP) is a statewide nonprofit organization with 18 offices in Washington state that provide free legal services to people living on low incomes. NJP’s mission is to combat injustice, strengthen communities, and protect human dignity.
If you have limited income and you owe Legal Financial Obligations (LFOs) because you were convicted of a crime, we may be able to help, especially if:
- You have a disability and are unable to work
- Your only source of income is Social Security (SSI or SSDI)

IT PITCH & RECRUITING EVENT
WHEN: Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 1:30 – 4:30pm

WHAT: The first of 20 “contestants” will be given the opportunity to give their elevator pitch to an audience of 80-90, followed by a networking and recruiting event for all job seekers.

WINTER SHELTER

WHERE: Seattle Mennonite Church, 3120 NE 125th St, Seattle, WA 98125
WHAT: Seattle Mennonite Church has opened their winter shelter for men and women. Open hours are nightly, 7:30pm – 6:30am the following morning. It’s recommended to call to check space availability. Walk-ins are accepted if maximum capacity hasn’t been reached.
