I-940 is a critically important step forward in the long-overdue need to reform our criminal justice system. Solid Ground renews our call for voters across Washington state to implement the reforms mandated by this Initiative.

With the Washington State Supreme Court sending I-940 to voters this November, Washington has another opportunity to stand up for increased accountability, better training for law enforcement, and legal standards designed to increase safety for all and build community trust in law enforcement.

We need more de-escalation and less use of deadly force. Approving I-940 this November will result in increased safety and justice for all who reside in our great state. Solid Ground reaffirms our support for I-940 and will seek to engage everyone in supporting this important effort.
