WHAT: KWA is currently hiring for Full-Time & Part-Time In-Home Patient Care Providers in 4 counties including Pierce County. Care Providers are sent into the home of disabled and elderly clients in need of help with their activities of daily living.
Minimum requirements:
- No experience required
- Minimum 18 years of age and a clean driving record
- Valid Washington driver’s license and must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Self-motivated, deeply caring individuals, punctual, flexible and able to work independently

If you were kicked off TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) due to:
- sanctions that led you to be permanently disqualified OR
- the 60-month limit, and you and your family are currently homeless
… you are again eligible for TANF, due to changes in the law effective July 28, 2019.

UBER BOOST PLAN
JUMP by Uber’s electric bikes let you go farther, get there faster, and have more fun. Their Boost Plan allows eligible riders to ride up to 60 minutes a day for just $5 a month. To qualify for the Boost plan, participants can send documentation of their enrollment with the Seattle Housing Authority, Basic Food, Seattle City Light, ORCA lift reduced-fare program, Regional Reduced Fare Permit, and/or Apple Health.
