Throughout the year, about 50 RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) knitters from across King County, WA and beyond craft mittens, scarves, baby items, and more to be distributed to agencies and organizations that serve people living on low incomes and those experiencing homelessness.
This year, over 2,000 items – which took around 3,200 hours of volunteers’ time – will be donated just in time for the holidays. Check out our video slideshow of volunteers and staff tagging and bagging these beautiful items for distribution – it’s a kaleidoscopic-candy-store-like explosion of cozy color!

It moved me deeply to see the rainbow of colors and things knitted for sa many different peolple: children, ladies, all. Every stitch done is a blessing to someone, including the one knitting. Your lovely smiling faces remind me that human beings love to give and share the blessings of life.
Thanks, RSVP Angels
