Are you ready to make a difference? Solid Ground’s Cooking Matters seeks two AmeriCorps members for a year of national service.
Cooking Matters works to empower families living on low incomes with the skills to stretch their food budgets so their children get healthy meals at home (part of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign to end childhood hunger in America). To achieve this goal, Solid Ground partners with local Seattle-area community organizations to host Cooking Matters’ 6-week cooking and nutrition education courses and one-time grocery store tours.
Solid Ground is hiring TWO AmeriCorps members to coordinate Cooking Matters’ 6-week courses and grocery store tours. Apply today to gain experience with vital nutrition education work in Seattle!
