OPS WINTER ARTS & CRAFTS SALE

WHAT: Organization for Prostitution Survivors is hosting an arts and crafts sale. Come purchase handcrafted items and support local artists and survivors on an individual level. All proceeds go directly to the artists. There will also be a 3:30pm poetry reading at the event.

NAME & GENDER MARKER CHANGE LEGAL CLINIC
WHEN: Sunday, December 18, 2016, 1 – 4pm
WHERE: Agnes Underground, 1433 12th Ave, Suite #A1, Seattle, WA 98122
WHAT: This clinic is a “one-stop-shop” for individuals who meet income guidelines to receive financial assistance to file your name or gender marker changes. It consists of volunteer attorneys to assist in filling out and understanding forms; and medical providers who will consult to write same-day letters at no cost for gender marker changes.
Types of assistance provided:
- Name Changes in King County
- Driver’s License Name & Gender Marker Changes
- Social Security Name & Gender Marker Changes
- Birth Certificate
- Passport Name & Gender Marker Changes
- Financial Assistance to file the paperwork
Free onsite passport photos will also be available for those interested. This is a fragrance free event; please refrain from using chemical fragrances. Due to limited space, RSVP/Registration is required.

SEATTLE MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT

WHAT: The medical mobile van program provides no-cost walk-in care for people who are currently or previously living homeless. The providers take their last medical patients 30-to-60 minutes prior to clinic end time. The mobile medical staff also assists uninsured individuals to apply for a new Medicaid program if necessary, and helps determine client health plan program eligibility.
