SYMPOSIUM ON WOMEN IN MANUFACTURING
WHEN: Tuesday, September 13, 10am–noon

WHAT: This symposium is designed to get women interested in the dynamic field of aerospace and advanced manufacturing and to provide an entry into the the Manufacturing Academy course that AJAC and the YWCA will be offering in the fall. That course will be targeted entirely to women and starts October 13, lasting for 11 weeks. It will provide certifications and hands-on experience in manufacturing leading directly to paid on-the-job training apprenticeships in machining, fabrication, assembly, composites and others. This symposium is open to anyone interested in learning more about opportunities for women in advanced manufacturing, especially women interested in the Manufacturing Academy.
