Adecco is holding an interviewing and hiring event on Tuesday, February 23 at WorkSource Renton. The first session will be at 12:30pm and is for data entry, administrative assistant and mail room clerk positions. The second session starts at 1:45pm and is for material handlers, cherry pickers, drivers and roaster/packer/sanitation. Pay for all of these positions is $12-15/hour depending on experience. Hopelink is starting a Job Club on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. These workshops will take place at Hopelink Kirkland from 1:30-3:30pm. This series will cover a variety of topics related to getting and keeping a job. The meeting on February 24 will be about debunking job search myths. The RISE program is available to people who currently receive Basic Food benefits and have some additional challenges in finding work. Goodwill is offering this program as part of a pilot study.
