U.S. CENSUS BUREAU HIRING KING COUNTY-AREA FIELD REPRESENTATIVES

WHEN: Thursday, September 29, 9am

WHAT: The Census Bureau conducts a variety of periodic surveys with households and businesses. Field representatives are selected based on openings in the county or city in which they live; jobs may not be available in all areas. Part-time field representatives earn $13.18–$16.56 per hour with mileage reimbursement at $0.54 cents per mile while on official business. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Be a U.S. citizen and present proof of identity and employment eligibility
• Valid driver license and reliable vehicle to use in completing assignments
• Pass the Basic Skills Test
• Meet Qualifications GG/GS-0303-03/04/05

WHAT: New Seasons Market is a beautiful natural foods store that is prominent in Oregon and is opening a store on Mercer Island. They will be hiring cashiers, chefs, stock clerks, merchandisers and more, with nearly 100 positions to fill. Three shifts are available. Salary depends upon experience. Previous retail experience is highly desired, but not a requirement. They will also consider candidates with barriers.
